Grandmaster William C C Chen

Tai Chi Chaun Workshop

Sunday May 22

The Tai Chi Center is pleased to sponsor a Tai Chi workshop with Grandmaster William C.C. Chen for the 15th consecutive year. This event is the highlight of the training year at The Tai Chi Center. Master Chen is consistently impressive in his ability to deeply understand the internal principles and Body mechanics of Tai Chi and to explain them in language that can be easily understood by all.

This workshop is presented as a series of 50 minute classes.  There are form classes  open to all levels skill. These classes will present the internal principles and body mechanic in the form. Each class will stand on it’s own however as we have seen in past workshops Master Chen will build on the these concepts through out the day - try to attend as much of the workshop as possible so you can benefit from Master Chen’s 50 plus years of teaching. The Applications class will further develop your understanding of these principles by explaining how Tai Chi works as a martial art. This year we will also have a class on Tai Chi sword.
